This summer has been so great. Except one thing. One of my besties is moving clear across the country. She is definitely one of those friends that is just incredible. Super happy and positive. Easy to laugh about life with. Loves you for your faults and is always up for an adventure. Because she has SO many friends, I decided to host a Girls Night In and made it a Pie Night. Because what mixes better with tears, right?! 🙂
I do have a secret though. I didn’t make all of the pies! I knew cleaning my house and keeping my kids from making messes would be hard enough, so I picked some of my favs and made those, but the rest I turned to EDWARDS® Whole Pies. Have you tried one of them before?
You can find them in the freezer section of your local Walmart store and it’s as easy as taking them out of the freezer when you are ready for them, letter them thaw and voila! You pies are done!
This Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup one was really good. The peanut butter pie was rich and the Reese’s on top just took it over the edge.
We also tried a banana creme pie that was good. I actually enjoyed it a few days later better than on party night, but it was nice and light and creamy. Super yummy.
I tried to keep things simple, but wanted to decorate a little. That sweet little pie garland will be coming out soon in my shop, but was super easy to put together.

It was such a great night to get together to share and laugh and say goodbye….and eat pie!
There are many ladies that have come into my life that I have been lucky to call friends and these girls all fall into that category.
To end the night, I made sweet little pie boxes that people could take home their favorite pieces of pie in to share or keep for later.
