What they wore: Easter Edition

Easter is always a favorite holiday around here. We started out with church at 8 am and because I didn’t want the kids hopped up on sugar for church, the Easter Bunny came after church. It worked out perfect as we went to church and remembered the true meaning of Easter, came home to do the Easter Bunny and then finished off the evening by going to visit some sweet friends in our congregation at an assisted living facility. It was a perfect day.  For church, I had a bow tie for each of the boys to wear. I made them from THIS tutorial except I added elastic to put around the neck.

And for my lone girl I made a really simple a-line dress that had bunny ears on each of the buttoned closures:

and a tail as per her request. 🙂 She saw this dress and fell in love, but as I was making it and got ready to put a face on it, it just didn’t have the look I was going for, so the dress had a very subtle bunny feel to the front, and made you smile when she turned around.:)

It turned out to be a great Easter…and was a fun holiday to be together.
