I don’t know about you, but I am excited about Thanksgiving. Each Monday, my family has family night and tonight for our “lesson” we will be talking about gratitude. I will intruducing this tree to them tonight and cannot wait to see what will happen. To make this tree come to life all you will need is THIS printable and then just cut out leaves out of different color cardstock. Leave the leaves, a pen, and cardstock out with a glue stick and watch your tree grow.
I cannot wait to see what our tree looks like at the end of the month. This is just a quick example…I took just a few minutes to think of some things I am grateful for and added them on.
I always love this month because it gives us a chance to reflect on the blessed life our family has been given. Being thankful outloud in such a visual way helps my kids to see and recognize their blessings (which never hurts going into December when the true meaning of Christmas is often times overlooked). I also love to read the little things everyone is greatful for..makes me remember EVERYTHING I HAVE BEEN GIVEN.
