I think I have professed my love for Chasing Fireflies before here on the blog. I love their style, the uniqueness of their gifts..I love a lot about them. Except for one thing. Their prices.
After just recieving their early spring catalog, I found the sweetest little print.

I LOVE IT! It is printed on wood and comes with a ready to hang frame. I think the sentiment was one of the sweetest I’ve seen. AND THEN I SAW THE PRICE. $278. WHAT?! what. what. What?! I couldn’t believe it. Well, this morning I still woke up dreaming about that print. So I thought..I’m going to make my own. And no, it won’t be printed on wood..or come with a frame. (But I am 100% positive I can find a frame I adore for MUCH less than $278.)
So I came up with this:
I still have the wood grain. I love that the type is a bit more chunky and slightly distressed. I guess you could say..I am in love.:)
And do you want to know the best part? The price. Only $7.95 in my shop for a 5×7. $9.95 for an 8×10 or just $11.95 for an 11×14 or 11×17. Totally beats the $278 they wanted!
