I was looking through some projects that I have done in the last bit and realized that they are all very RANDOM projects! So we are going to have some random weeks together.:)
This week, I will show you bits of a baby shower that I put together for a friend. She was having her 4th baby..her 2nd boy, so we thought a “sprinkle” was in order. I am not a crazy party thrower…but I did want to make it special for my friend..so because it was a boy, I chose a few shades of blue and white and ran with it. Decorations were simple with the use of a cute shower curtain I found, I added some white pom poms, some different blue pendants made out of paper and made the food the highlight of the day.
I did a bunch of brunch foods (and a little dessert)…
we talked, laughed, shared some of our favorite thoughts on motherhood (that project will be up later this week), and opened gifts.
It was the most simple of baby showers, but a perfect way to usher in baby #4!
Are you an elaborate or simple party thrower? What are your favorite party throwing tips?
Tomorrow I will share the invites and printed materials I used:
