My youngest boy is turning 5 and adores Scooby Doo. And when I say adores…I mean LOVES with all his HEART!
So we decided a Scooby Doo party is in order:
I love coming up with the little details for my kids parties. I cannot say I throw extravagant parties…I wish I had the time and resources available…but the most important thing is that each of them knows how special they are to our family.
I woke up last weekend thinking that his birthday was actually 2 weeks away..and realized it was exactly ONE week away. So I quickly ran to the computer and whipped up some invites..(and we changed the date so it won’t be right ON his birthday..bad mom, bad mom!):)
(love how this little fly decided to be part of my little photo shoot!)
After taking some pictures in some horrible light, I decided on just cartooning my little guy instead and couldn’t be happier with how he turned out!
The font SCOOBY DOO can be found here. Isn’t it so nice there are so many free fonts out there!
And by folding and gluing the sides of each invite, I created a pocket to add a little treat to…what little kid doesn’t like a little snack?!
Excited for his party this week…but more excited for him that he is turning 5. (we have been talking about this since May 22 last year!)
And next week coming up:
I have had questions GALORE about how to make these darn ruffles! I am putting together a tutorial specifically on those. I know I promised it awhile ago, but thanks for being patient and hanging in there…It will be here next week!
Of course, along with some Scooby Doo craziness!
Have a happy weekend!
