Slippin Southern Giveaway- Happy Birthday Week

What a fun giveaway I have in store for you today. Have you ever heard of Slippin Southern on etsy? They are a relatively new shop, but have made quite a splash in their first six months. It is seriously one of my favorite stores period. I want at least 10 things from the shop and already have a place for them in my house!

Slippin Southern is a store that carries wood sayings, objects and letters in a whole new way! The first time I took a look at their store, I fell in love with a lot of the phrases that they sell. They are good ol’ southern sayings…something that I think even people in the west need in their homes!

I adore so many things in their shop, that I have to show off a few of them.

This sign I will have in my house someday soon.:) One of our family traditions that we started with our first little boy started out somewhat as a joke and now runs deep..don’t you love when that happens. When we have a big job to do that we are just starting or just finishing, we all put our hands in a big pile and then yell out..”Sure….love ya!” It’s our way to remind each other that together we can do anything. See why this one ~~would~~ will be perfect in my house:

Right as soon as I graduated high school, I took off for college in Savannah, Georgia at Savannah College of Art and Design. My best friends (and everyone else there) would say this constantly..and I think it is so sweet:

I am determined to have a wall in my house that pays tribute to each of the places we have lived, and this piece will be perfect for my Savannah time.

And lastly, one of my fondest memories growing up were playing at the beach. My brothers and sisters and I would look for hours for whole sand dollars and when we would get a good bag of them, we would take them right home and wash them and put them out in the sun to bleach really white. They are some of the most beautiful things you can find at the ocean (in my opinion)…so of course I am going to love this:
