I have been thinking a lot lately about traditions. How fun they are, how they are truly activities and quirky things we do as families that make us ONE! We are starting another one in our family.
We will call it the SPECIAL HAT! (original, right!ha.):)
Much like the “special plate” that a person gets on special days..first day of school, big accomplishments, birthdays, etc., the birthday hat will be a tangible thing for the person to wear to let them know we noticed something they did. I think photos will definitely be in order and after awhile, what a fun little “Brady Bunch” poster it could make!
Today I will show you the girl version..yes, there will be two versions in our home (the boys would not be caught dead in this!):

The thing I love about this is that you can make it very personal per occasion because of the clips and badges. I love that I can change it out and it will be special for a totally different day:

It’s just another fun way to show the person that as their family, we are greatful they are part of our family..and just another tangible way to say “I love you!”
