The start of Thanksgiving!

The start of the Thanksgiving holiday. I am SO excited for it..not only because it really has been overlooked..(Really, how long can you sell Christmas for?!), but because I just love thinking and reflecting on all the blessings and amazing things I have been blessed with in my life.
I don’t know if you were around last year for Thanksgiving, but I thought I would share 2 projects from the archives to start us off this holiday.
First we have Tom the Turkey. This is a sweet, fun and interactive way to get your kids involved in remembering their blessings as well. The directions from start to finish can be found HERE!  We have ours out and started and the kids are excited to get his full fan of “thankful” feathers on him.
Plus, isn’t he just the cutest?!
Next, there is a free printable to use as a cupcake topper, turn it into a ribbon, add it to a card..there are endless possibilities!  You can find that post and download HERE.

and lastly,
You can find me over at Craft Snob today for a Handmade Ornament Parade..
so you can get your tree ornaments all done before the season even begins! There have been some really sweet ornaments so far…a little teaser for my tutorial:

Yep, my little treat bucket critters are back all dressed up for Christmas.
AND they will be all dressed up for Thanksgiving right back here tomorrow!
Why are YOU excited for Thanksgiving?
