This week in Vegas…

This post is sponsored by Banana Boat®, however, as always, the opinions are 100% mine.

Oh my goodness, friends. This week has been HOT! We have steadily hit 108 about 4 days and then today was 113. Tonight I was looking at the temps for next week and it doesn’t look like it will be any better. Living in Las Vegas is so wonderful, but summer can be tough. However, there is always one thing that cures the indoor summer blues for our family…getting in water.

Whether we are swimming at a neighborhood pool, going to Lake Mead,

or simply running through our sprinklers, this is one thing that can’t be beat! As you can see, I have 5 little toe heads. They all have fair skin and unfortunately, some of them have had burns before when suntan lotion wasn’t spread correctly or was forgotten. I know for myself, I think that being out for just 20 minutes won’t do anything to my skin, but I have had one too many burns to know that that is just not true.

I have been so good lately making sure that my kids get a complete covering before we get outside at all to do anything because I started putting specific kids in charge of reminding me. Before we leave for the pool or even just get our swimming suits on, they are reminding me, and that has helped me be a lot better! Banana Boat® has been our go to this summer and love that they have so many different products. Being a beach LOVER, I love their new SunComfort™ Clear UltraMist® Sunscreen – it provides Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB protection and water resistance, and also allows sand to easily brush off! How awesome is that?!

Whatever your summer activity is though, whether sun, pool water, ocean water, wind, sweat, sand or extreme heat, Banana Boat® has a product that will help you keep your kiddos happy and safe from the sun. As a mom, there is nothing more that I want. How do you remember to lotion your kids up before being in the sun?
