Simple and Memorable Mother's Day Gift

Oh, Mother’s Day is right around the corner. I was so excited to come up with a new idea for a gift for my mom using a few of my favorite products…Expressions Vinyl and an Instax Camera…because what grandma doesn’t want a way to show off her grandchildren!

And that goes for grandmothers and mothers. I LOVE to show my kiddos off, so this is a fun one (and an easy one) for your kids to put together too!

You can make the one above for about $15 or the one below for about $5. But no matter which you make, the message is the same and it is just the sweetest for Mother’s Day.

To make this sweet little photo frame is really simple.

SUPPLIES

Expressions Vinyl- for this project I used the White Removeable Indoor Vinyl
Transfer Tape. I LOVE this clear one from Expressions Vinyl..much cheaper than you can find around and love that it comes in a huge roll!
Frame (I found a chalkboard frame at Hobby Lobby for $12 and a chipboard frame {12×12} for $3) Use what you have or go find one you or your mom will love!
Cut file for this project..click HERE for the file
Electronic cutting machine..I used a Cricut Explore
Instax Camera for pictures (or use some that you have taken!) Check out the new Heidi Swapp Instax Line HERE.

Put 12×12 vinyl on cut mat. You can make the file the size you want.
Have machine cut out your design
Pull off the outside vinyl around your design
Using weeder, pull out smaller pieces
When you are done weeding design, put transfer tape over the design
Run over tape with a credit card (or something hard) and then take off of vinyl backing.
Then get your frame and place vinyl down. Use credit card again to go over the design again and gently take the tape off.
Take pics of your kiddos and add some little clips to hold photos.
You are done. Wrap it up and give it to your mom!

I can’t wait to wrap mine up with a nice card and let my mom know again just how grateful I am for her. I hope you take a moment to share your love with the moms in your life as well!
